As we promised you, here are the last steps of the Japanese ritual to display young, soft and plump skin through the ancestral knowledge that is layering! (Did you miss the first articles?! No panic! You will find here the history of layering and To be the first stages of this Asian custom). Let's not waste any more time blabbering, I'm bringing down the curtain!
#4: Serum
The serum is chosen according to the specific needs of your skin (anti-wrinkle, anti-stain, etc.). Although moisturizing care, the day or night cream cannot be substituted by a serum. The latter is applied to your face like your make-up remover, in circular massages. It will give your skin a feeling of calm and well-being.
#5: The eye contour
The eye contour is where the skin on your face is the thinnest, which requires specific care, especially after 35 years of age. It is not necessary to take a large amount of care for this part of the face, only a small amount is enough. To avoid attacking your skin on this part of the face, apply your care with your fingertips by tapping your face just below the eye. This will also stimulate blood circulation and help fight dark circles!!
#6: Day or night cream
This moisturizer is to be chosen according to your skin type. We can prefer a richer cream for the night cream because it will benefit cell renewal unlike an overly rich day cream which will tend to make us shine (We don't want to look like a disco ball, huh?!). A simple vegetable oil or oleogel may also be suitable.
Warm the cream between your hands then apply it by placing your hands on the entire surface of your face. This allows the cream to penetrate deeply.
#7: Lip balm
Because we like to have luscious lips to give kisses to our lover, we put everything on the last step of this ritual: lip care!! You can use shea butter, 100% natural. The latter will highlight your lips and your smile! Because your smile is your first charm asset!!
And you, what are your beauty rituals?
