Beeswax
Beeswax allows you to modify certain textures: mixed with vegetable oil, it allows you to make balms and butters. PROPERTIES AND BENEFITS OF BEESWAX
- Thickener for oily phases: thickens vegetable oils to give them a balsam or butter texture
- Skin protective agent: film-forming, it leaves a thin, protective film on the skin which prevents skin drying
- Hardening: lip sticks, soaps, candles
- Stabilizer in emulsions: be careful, this is not an emulsifier
- Emollient: makes the skin supple and soft
