What is hemp?
Hemp also called the cannabis sativa L, is one of the oldest plants domesticated by man. It belongs to the family of cannabinacea.
It is an annual plant that grows wild all over the planet as a small bush or shrub with very characteristic leaves.
It germinates in spring and flowers from the end of summer until the end of October.
This is a species selected by botanists that is totally different from the cannabis used for its recreational effects since it has only a few THC (molecule having psychotropic effects) and a lot of CBD (cannabidiol). Thus, it does not lead to dependence or addiction.
Cannabidiols are molecules with many therapeutic virtues: analgesic, anti-inflammatory, healing and anti-radical properties .
What are the virtues in cosmetics?

Composed of 85% essential fatty acids, the oil will help relieve skin conditions such as eczema , psoriasis or acne .
These anti-inflammatory properties would also promote healing .
Through its richness in vitamin E and fatty acid , hemp oil is a very great antioxidant . It therefore protects the skin from aggressions , reduces roughness and fights against skin aging .
