    Egyptian geranium and bourbon geranium have equivalent properties. They are both relatively safe for dermal use and diffusion. Oral use should preferably be under the supervision of a healthcare professional. Geranium essential oils in general are allergenic because they have approximately 50% allergens in their chemotype: citronellol, geraniol and linalool. It is therefore advisable to test them in the elbow crease before using them over a larger area.

    Extraction method: total and complete steam distillation (our essential oil contains all of the aromatic principles of the plant), extracted without solvent, non-terpenated.

    Yield: 0.15 to 0.3%. This means that it takes 300 to 660 kg of aerial parts of Egyptian geranium to obtain 1 kg of Egyptian geranium essential oil. Yield may vary depending on season, region, type of crop, or from one year to the next. The lower the yield, the more valuable and expensive the essential oil will be.

    Solubility: All essential oils are soluble in oil or oily raw materials. To mix an essential oil in water, it must first be dissolved in a dispersant such as Disper.
